changed category from "General" to "My Library"
Or perhaps at least an "Archive" button to retain the license, but hide it away in an archival area so that it doesn't cause clutter.
Yes, some method of archiving old versions of the programs would be nice. I just logged on to "Connect" and in the "Your Collection" view I see Win Optimizer versions going back at least to WinOptimizer 18 (and I currently have WinOptimizer 25 installed). Same with other programs. No idea why I might want to go back to WinOptimizer 18, but it is nice to see the record. Maybe a folder "Old Programs" within the "Your Collection" grouping. Thanks, Jeff
Так как для РОССИИ ничего не продаёте, нет никакого смысла удалять старые программы!!!
Some two years after this was first suggested, it's still not been progressed
Yes a real shame that this has not been dealt with by Ashampoo, but there is a removal system built into Windows but this will remove all the program from the machine, no chance of saving Codes or whatever, this way. AS one has paid for it, perhaps the button should be called "Reinstall" not Archive!!
Not seeing a lot of advantages to connect over a folder with all my Ashampoo launch shortcuts. Not seeing licenses keys. Archiving old versions is a must. This is a pretty weak offering.
apparently I am not allowed to remove winoptimizer 2023 from my library. this is unacceptable and need to be corrected!
I purchased Video Easy a few months back. I went to open it from my Start menu and didn't find it despite installing it when purchased. I opened Connect and Video Easy shows in My Collection. I clicked Launch and nothing happened. I closed Connect and reopened it. Still won't launch the application.
Duplicate File Finder, is much too basic.
Needs "DATE" of file.
Secondley, you need to be able to choose the file that you want to delete.
in Connect, there is a "remove" option to uninstall the program, and an "archive" option to remove the option from view in the Your Software tab. Both options are available on the Launch/Install button by using the dropdown arrow on the right-hand side of the button.
Be aware that the Remove option needs to be used to uninstall the program before the Archive option is available. If you uninstall through another method, the Connect application does not recognize it for purposes of archiving.
What joshgoldberg writes is correct. We added this feature last month, but it is still being improved, so this request is still open.
Thanks for your description josh
