snap12 failed to find instance please restart ??????????????????????
All very well having public comments but why does Ashampoo not give any answers? typical of software companies who fail to respond in an even half-hearted manner when a customer raises a problem. Never a good bit of PR.

unfortunately it is not always possible to reply to every post immediately. However, we sift through and discuss all your posts in the team, try to reproduce and improve the concerns. This snap bug case here is under observation so that we can see if there is a major build site here for which we need to reprioritize the developments. One request from me, describe to us in as much detail as possible how the bug happened. How exactly is the click process, ect ( gladly also screenshots, ). In addition, please also note information about the system, which Windows, is a firewall installed, such things. Everything that helps us to reproduce an error as accurately as possible helps us to fix it quickly :)

Dear Christian.
I am not a technical person.
I tried several times to download and run your free Snap 12 programme,
which I
assumed was an old stable version, and always got as far as an error
message.
At this point I sent the error message to you.
Having what I felt was an unusable old programme I deleted it and did
not record
any of my steps, take screen shots (a technical process I am unaware of)
or note
down any of the information you are now seeking.
This does beg the question.
"Why are you sending out to customers, a piece of software which
contains bugs,
supposedly as a gift, for them to respond telling you what the problems
are?"
Not a convincing marketing ploy to engender loyalty.
