Smaller icons - only 3 fit my screen

It would be better if the window and all icons, texts, etc. could be scaled. At 1920x1080 I see only 3 apps, and the setting for my monitor is 100%, so I'm not making them bigger. I understand why you might want the image to be impactful, perhaps smaller icons with rollovers that are much bigger? It would be easier to find and launch a program if there were more visible choices. Thanks.
